Welcome

Welcome to the website for St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Parish in St. John's, NL, Canada.  We trust you will find our website very informative and allow you the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the rich history and faith story of our journey.

We are located in the beautiful historic city of St. John's and we share a faith story of wonderful blessings.  Our parish is rooted in a long history and our church was designated as a historic site on June 26, 2005.

Our mission statement describes who we are as faithful stewards, we "the people of St. Patrick's Parish are a welcoming faith community, nourished by prayer, word and sacrament, committed to living out the gospel message of love and service to all God's people".

We encourage the laity who have answered the call of the church to share their time and talent for the good of the community.  We are nourished by the word and sacraments and empowered by the Holy Spirit to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.

Remember, the gifts and talents that were given to you by God and share them generously with your brothers and sisters, and be assured that if you do, you will be answering Jesus' call to the apostles to bring the message of the Good News to the people of the world.

May God bless you and your loved ones.  Peace and prayers.

Enjoy your journey of our webpage and kindly pray for the leadership of our parish and the faithful laity and religious who serve it.
